We usually reply within one business day.
Questions, bugs, feature ideas, or a request to delete your data — email us and a real person will read it.
Open Spokeninbox once. It creates a private inbound address for your device — something like you@in.spokeninbox.com — and shows it to you. That address is your inbox. Subscribe a newsletter to it, or forward an email you already have.
Copy your Spokeninbox address and use it wherever you would normally subscribe with your email. New issues arrive automatically. To listen to something you already received, forward it to your address from any mail app.
Newsletters usually send a confirmation email first — open Spokeninbox and confirm from there if needed. Pull down to refresh your inbox. If a message still has not arrived after a few minutes, double-check the address for typos, and make sure the sender was not blocked. Still stuck? Email support@spokeninbox.com.
Only when you press play. Opening an email shows a quick preview; the transcript and narration are generated on demand the first time you tap play, then cached so replays are instant.
Yes. Playback continues in the background with full lock-screen controls, and it resumes at the exact point you stopped — even the next day.
English, Russian, and Spanish. The language is detected per email and narrated in the matching voice, so a Spanish newsletter is read in Spanish.
No. Spokeninbox never connects to an existing mailbox and there is no OAuth. The only mail we see is what you send to your Spokeninbox address. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Deleting the app removes the device secret that keys your account and clears cached audio from your phone. To have the server-side data for your address permanently erased, email support@spokeninbox.com with your Spokeninbox address and we will remove it.
For now, your address is tied to the device secret on a single phone, so a new device starts fresh with a new address. Multi-device sync is on our list — if this matters to you, let us know at support@spokeninbox.com.
